About ISIS
The Institute is an independent non-profit Bulgarian NGO, not linked to political parties, organisations or movements, as well as to religious or ideological denominations. Judicial person according to the Formal Register of Judicial Persons at Sofia City Court: Consignment 1496, Vol. 23, Ch.V, p. 121, based on Decision 1979 of Sofia City Court of 4 November 1994.
ISIS is not linked to any political party, movement, organization, religious or ideological denomination and is part of the International Security Network. ISIS is a co-founder of the PfP Consortium of Defense Academies and Security Studies Institutes (Zurich, 1998), and its director was a Co-Chair of the Consortium from 2002 to 2009, and a Co-Chair of the Euroatlantic Security Studies Institute from 1999 to 2003. ISIS or its associates participated in all projects for drafting the National Security Concept and National Security Strategies of Bulgaria.
